Imani Bowman, Director of Clinical and Community Programming, LCPC

Imani (she/her) is a licensed clinical professional counselor (LCPC) and manages the practice’s clinical programs and community outreach. She believes mental health is an essential piece to living our best, most fulfilling lives.

Imani enjoys working with children, families, and individuals. She is especially passionate about working with pre-teens, teenagers, and young adults as they transition through life's challenges.

Her experience includes working with clients between the ages of 5 and 65, working in school based and community settings, and working with African American clients.

Imani is originally from Kansas City (home of real BBQ and the Kansas City Chiefs). She relocated to the DC area 10 years ago to attend the illustrious Howard University.

She received a B.S. in Psychology from Howard University and a M. Ed in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from George Washington University. In her free time, she enjoys doing DIY projects and bedazzling anything she can get her hands on.
