Rainey Small, Professional Counseling Intern
Rainey (she/her) is a graduate student at The George Washington University in Washington, D.C. earning her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.
She believes authenticity and collaboration is the key to success for therapy. She is interested in working with teenagers, adults, couples, and families. Rainey has a deep understanding of culture and identity and how these factors influence individual development. She uses a combination of therapeutic techniques, including narrative, Gestalt, and CBT based approaches.
Rainey was born and raised in Long Island, New York and attended Howard University to receive her bachelors in Psychology. In her free time, she enjoys playing music, trying new foods, and spending time with her dog, Barbie.
